Anders Behavioral Consulting

Our company partners with support service agencies that provide residential services to adults with disabilities. We specialize in behavioral assessment and the development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized behavior support plans for individuals who engage in challenging behaviors. Services are delivered by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and BCBA candidates under the supervision of a PhD-level BCBA. We also provide Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Support Plans (BSPs), and consultation to agencies, individuals, and families, including plan review and ongoing clinical oversight.

About Us

With over 15 years of experience in the special education field, Megan Anders, PhD, BCBA-D, has worked extensively with individuals with severe disabilities. Dr. Anders holds a Master's Degree in Special Education, a PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis, and is a Board Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst in Maryland.

Assessment & Individualized Behavior Support Planning

We conduct thorough, person-centered behavioral assessments and develop individualized Behavior Support Plans that are ethical, data-driven, and tailored to the unique strengths, needs, and goals of each individual.

  • Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and comprehensive behavioral evaluations

  • Review of historical records, data, and prior plans

  • Development of individualized, evidence-based Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)

  • Alignment of BSPs with Person-Centered Plans, quality-of-life goals, and client preferences

  • Ongoing plan updates and revisions based on data and clinical need

Short Term Consultation

We provide hands-on training and coaching to ensure staff understand not just what to do, but why strategies work—promoting consistency, confidence, and sustainable implementation.

  • Initial and ongoing staff training on BSP implementation

  • Modeling, coaching, and performance feedback for direct-support professionals

  • Training on proactive strategies, reinforcement systems, and skill-building

  • Support with fidelity of implementation and treatment integrity

  • Collaboration with supervisors and program leadership to build internal capacity

Ongoing Consultation, Data Analysis, & Collaborative Support

Through ongoing consultation and data-based decision-making, we partner with teams and families to ensure behavior supports remain effective, responsive, and aligned with each individual’s evolving needs.

  • Ongoing behavioral data review and analysis

  • Regular consultation with residential staff, supervisors, and agency leadership

  • Participation in Person-Centered Plan (PCP) meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings

  • Collaboration with families, guardians, and external providers

  • Data-based decision-making to refine supports and improve quality of life
